Thinking about finally redoing the beds, adding a patio, or planting a privacy row? Here is how a landscape installation actually goes when you work with us, so you know what you are signing up for before you ever spend a dollar.
Step 1: The quote, done in two passes
We quote every project the same way. First we pull up your property on satellite and street view and rough in a price range, so you get a fast, honest ballpark without waiting on a site visit. Then Zach walks the property with you in person before anything is final. That walk is where the real plan takes shape: where the water sits, what is worth keeping, what should come out, and what the space needs to do for your family.
The number we lock in after that walk is the number you pay.
Step 2: The plan
Most projects do not need a formal drawing, they need clear decisions. Together we settle:
- What comes out: overgrown shrubs, tired foundation plantings, old edging
- What goes in: plantings, mulch or stone, borders, hardscape like a patio or fire pit
- How water moves: grading and drainage get decided before anything pretty happens
- The order of work and how long it will take
You approve the plan and the price before we break ground.
Step 3: Install week
Our crew shows up when we said we would. Beds get cut and edged, soil gets prepped, plants go in at proper spacing for what they will look like in three years, not just on day one. Mulch or rock goes down at the right depth. Hardscape gets a proper base, because a patio is only as good as what is under it.
We haul away everything we removed. Your property is left clean, not with a debris pile by the driveway.
Step 4: After the install
New plantings need water while they establish, and we tell you exactly how much and how often. If we installed the landscape, we want it looking good two summers from now, because your yard is our sign on the street. A lot of our install customers add weekly mowing or seasonal cleanups after seeing how the crew works.
What it costs
Every honest answer starts with the property, so we will not throw fake numbers here. Small refresh projects like re-edging and mulching a few beds sit at one end. Full builds with patios, plantings, and drainage sit at the other. The two-pass quote exists so you get a real range fast, and a firm number before you commit.
